Has anyone got any tips, tricks, suggestions on how to stop a toddler (23 months) from taking their arms out of their car seat straps?
We’ve got an Axkid minikid 4 pro, the straps are pulled as tightly as I can physically get them to go but she is still managing to take her arms out and then as she only has the strap across her upper thighs she’s able to sit forwards, twist and try to completely climb out. Luckily on the 2 occasions it’s happened this weekend we’ve been able to pull over very quickly to put her back but I’m now so anxious about going anywhere on my own in the car!

Can I see a picture of her first fitted to the car seat please.
This sounds more like a fit issue or you’re over tightening maybe xx

Im no expert but I just wanted to say you are not alone.. my son at this age managed to unclick the button and was getting totally out the seat!! It was stressful…I tried all sorts of things which in the end resulted in forward facing him earlier than I would of liked because nothing was helping but having him face forward I could distract him and then he finally stopped🤦🏼♀️ he has a new car seat now because he’s bigger and he can’t get out of that one thank god
