I’m 19 weeks and some. I keep hearing about people feeling their babies move about now. I’ve googled it and it says not to worry but I seem to be the only person not feeling my baby. Is there anyone else around 19 weeks who hasn’t felt anything?

I’m in the same boat! 19 weeks tomorrow and don’t feel it 😩 would be interested to hear from others too

I’m the same… I think it is common when youre a ftm, as long as everything is fine it should be ok

I’m 20 weeks and I still don’t feel baby, and I know I have a posterior placenta too! If you’re a FTM, I think it’s common to not feel anything for a few more weeks 😊

I feel like I’m the same in a way!
I sometimes feel like a tapping sensation when I’m sat upright
But I’m not 100% if that is baby movement or something else

With my first I didn't feel proper movements until nearly 25 weeks! I had an anterior placenta (found out at 20w scan) and that can really impact how you feel baby move as it's like having a big cushion in the way. Plus, as a FTM you don't know what you're meant to be feeling! Everyone kept telling me "you will just know" but I didn't until... I did! But it was suddenly just really obvious. This time (17w with second now) I've been feeling movements for several weeks already, so it is definitely easier second time, and I suspect my placenta will be posterior too.

With my first pregnancy I didn't feel anything until 20-21 weeks. I had an anterior placenta which cushioned it and also if this is your first then it can take longer to feel it as your insides basically aren't so stretched out etc as if it were your 2nd/3rd etc. They only say to be concerned if you haven't felt any movement by 24/25 weeks so please don't worry!

This whole thread is making me feel so much better thank you girls ❤️

When I was pregnant I didn’t feel anything until around 22 weeks. Don’t panic 🙂

20+5 and haven’t felt any movements yet - asked the sonographer at my 20 week scan and he said expect to start feeling movements at around 23 weeks, which was reassuring 🙂

Lateral (placenta is on the side). 19+3 and nothing yet!

If it's your first pregnancy, it takes longer to recognise the feeling, people wont be feeling huge movements. it'll be the smallest little rolls and pokes. Some say it feels like a fluttering even at first. Other things like placenta placement and the size of baby too.
I'm 18+3 with my second baby and I have felt her move but hardly anything if im honest 😅 my son, actually was huge with loads of energy though and I was actually feeling him more than my girl now who is relatively small and chill in comparison haha
