Curious how many times a day does your 2 year hit, bite, scratch etc? Trying to decide if my girls behavior is normal or if she’s learning bad behavior from day care :/

In my experience it has to be day care. My son was the most well behaved, and sweet little boy until I started working at a daycare. He was constantly bit, hit by kids the same as him. It had a bad reaction on him, poor baby. He started acting out at home. He never told us no or said anything mean and then one day my husband told him to pick up his toys (which is something he did all the time without complaint) he lashed out, told us no, he started to hit me whenever I would try to calm him down during a tantrum. I was pregnant when I worked there and one kid in my class kicked me in the stomach, a two year old picked up one of those metal kids chairs and threw it at me because I asked him to put his shoes on. I could tell it was really affecting my son so I quit. Thankfully we worked through it and he got back to being his normal self.
I love kids, but honestly daycare kids are on another level of mean

One time I had a kid in my class who was 2 at the time and my son was 1. His mom came to pick him up and he started throwing things around the room because he didn't want to leave. He walked up to my son just smacked the heck out of him, like smacked him so hard it left a bruise. I was so furious, but I was also his teacher and his mom was right there so I had to control my anger and handle it respectfully. I explained to him we don't hit or throw and asked him to apologize because my son was crying and his mom just said "it was an accident let's go son" no apology to me or my son, she just grabbed her kid walked out 😒
