I'm leaning towards 1st trip around the sun! We love space and it's just so cute! I haven't figured out venue yet, but since it will be July in Texas, it will probably be at our house indoors. 🤣

One-der the sea is our theme. Either indoor or doing some inflatable pools in the front yard.

For my son who's middle name is Astro his 1st birthday was 'First trip around the sun'. Now that my son and daughter share a birthday, her 1st birthday and his 3rd birthday this year is a shared party with theme being Dinosaurs invade Onederland🧡☺️ we'll have depending on temperature either indoor or outdoor play with some tea party snacks.

Is it safe to have sex after losing mucus plug?

We were planning on having sex tonight to try and get labour moving, but I've just lost quite a large amount of my mucus plug and maybe had a bloody show although I'm not entirely sure, it wasn't much blood.

Is it generally safe to have unprotected sex or is there a risk of infection?

Doula

Hello! I hired a doula at 5 weeks and I’m currently 31 weeks. I have not really connected with her and I have connected much more with my OBGYN.

I also recently found out she’s a Trump supporter which makes me concerned about her beliefs about women’s right to choose. This seems to be in direct conflict with what I believed Doula’s did (empowered women to be in control of their labors).

Has anyone had concerns about their doula in their third trimester and decided to go without. I have a super supportive husband who is a doctor at the hospital I’m delivering at. I also am hoping that my sister who lives abroad can make the delivery. I feel like with the two of them, I won’t need to doula. I just feel like after all this time with her, it’s strange we are still not comfortable with each other.

I’d love to hear folks thoughts. This is not an invitation to argue about politics. If you are a Trump supporter just keep it moving.

Confused...

Hi, I’ve been trying to conceive for 3 years. My period was due today, but I haven’t had any of my usual signs. Normally, I get spotting before my period, but this time I haven’t had any at all.
Over the past week, I’ve been feeling quite nauseous, and for the last 4 days I’ve had PMS-like cramps in the centre, along with sharper pain on my right side. Yesterday I also experienced a pulling sensation, almost like I’d done an intense ab workout.
I’m feeling really confused because I took a test yesterday and it was negative. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I’m not sure why I’m experiencing these symptoms without my period starting.

Pregnancy triage advice

I’m 31 weeks pregnant with DCDA twins and earlier I picked my 2.5 year old up and threw her in the air as part of a maternity shoot. I’ve had sore stomach muscles since (understandable) but now I have period pains on and off every 15 mins or so.

I’m not one of that likes to bother anyone and also I don’t have a way of getting to the hospital atm…

Would anyone else be concerned at this point?
