4th Birthday 🎂

What is everyone buying their May babies for their 4th birthday? I’m really struggling for ideas. Like most, my boy has basically everything 🫣. He got a new bike last year but hasn’t really used it yet so will likely get use from it this year. Normally at birthdays we haven’t went overboard if struggling for ideas, because he gets stuff all year round but this year he is super aware of his birthday and keeps asking about it so I’m feeling the pressure to come up with inspiration. Xx

So far I’ve got mine paw patrol stuff (there character cars he hasn’t got, a wall clock in the shape of a watch), a tent for the garden from aldi (it’s a garage), a hot wheels remote control car, a blanket, some Jurassic world dinosaurs, a scissor control game thing, some bath toys, a Tonie, a bubble machine thing, a couple of garden toys

Depending on what he likes, smyths have so many nice bits in and everything is reasonably priced, the bath toys I brought are really sweet and we’re all £8-£10 each

I could have spent so so much more with the cute bits they had in

One small thing on my list is a good quality slinky, we got one for one of his friends and it was a hit

Our son is getting a bike as main present, then also got monster trucks, selection of activity books (stickers, find it, drawing), smelly felt tips, mix mashers avenger characters, two yoto cards, hover football, avengers play doh, a slime machine ball, Lego set, mini skateboard and oodie. I also plan on getting him one of the robot hatching Dino eggs. X

My LO loves paw patrol so was going to get something paw patrol related.

I’d like to find a toddler watch.

An electric dirt bike 😂 lol I have a little Jonny Knoxville . It's a pretty big present but it's gunna be so awesome. If you have a garden maybe something to climb on or trampoline have a look on fb market place you can get things cheap. Sand pit 🤔

We'll be on holiday for his birthday so just planning on getting a few things for the garden when we come back.

Newborn essentials

Went into Mama’s and Papa’s yesterday but found it so overwhelming. Anyone have any recommendations of things we absolutely need for the newborn and what you couldn’t live with out? Which pushchair did you go for? There’s so much to choose from! First time mama needs help 💖

Confused by gender

Hey! Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar

I’ve had two blood tests one at 9 weeks and another at 10 weeks and both came back showing girl chromosomes. However, whenever my doctor looks at baby on the scan, he can clearly see a nub between the legs. It was still really obvious at our most recent 12-week scan too!

Has anyone had this happen where the blood tests say girl but the scans have looked more like a boy? Did it become clearer later on?

We’re now waiting until our 16-week scan to see if anything changes 💕

Nightmare birth?

Anyone else have a nightmare experience? I wont elaborate much here because i dont want to horrify anyone. But. Im still in hospital after delivery and feel like im literally going insane from the stress of how badly it has gone. I have only slept a grand total of about 4 hours in 4 days. And feel like i keep hearing things that are not really there. Like music or animal sounds. The 20 mins of grand total sleep ive had since after i delivered was pure nightmare. Im drowning in stress

Having pain

Hi everyone, I’m writing this post because I have been having this pain since the beginning of my pregnancy and me and my Dr. We checked everything and everything looks good. I do have my eight weeks ultrasound next week on 25th of September. But today I have been having a lot of pain while I was standing for a long time at my workplace. Is it fine or is it common to have this kind of pain during the first trimester?

Period at 3and a half weeks PP

I’m convinced my period came back on Friday, but when I’ve googled it it says it’s just the PP bleeding. But that stopped over a week and a half ago (had a C-Section). I know it can start up again but this feels very different. I have had a migraine (only get them when I’m on my period), constipation and the pattern of the bleeding is exactly like my periods used to be. Could this be possible? Baby is 4 weeks old tomorrow.

17 days post c section.

So I’m 17 days post c section and on my left side I can really feel what I can only describe as an internal incision/stitches I feel it most when I move in certain positions, stretch, sit up etc. it’s like a pulling/tugging sensation it’s kind of hard to explain.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have an appointment tommorow with the wound clinic.
