My son just turned a year old a few weeks ago and was taking really good naps; one in the mid-morning and then one around 4:30/5PM. Now he is barely napping because he is fighting his sleep and will just end up being fussy. Sometimes he will take his mid morning nap and it's a short one, but refuses to take his evening nap. This causes him to be quite fussy until he falls asleep for the night. His schedule is all types of messed up, any recommendations on what I can do?

Possibly start setting the mood for his nap a hr before u put him down like no loud noises, tv maybe ? lights off and laying down . He’s at the age where he doing more and learning more so the world is an exciting place for him he probably just doesn’t wanna miss out on anything. So once he realizes you set a space for quiet time and nothing fun is happening hopefully he won’t fight his sleep when you rock him to bed.
