My husband just told me that at work he and his male friends/coworkers pinch each others nipples as like a joke, I think it’s inappropriate and it’s cheating in a way and he does not agree he thinks it’s just funny and nothings wrong with it

I suspect this is rage bait but I will answer like it’s not. That’s normal, it’s just the sort of stuff people do to goof around and get through the work day. I worked in hospitality for 12 years, the stuff that went on in the kitchens would never of got past HR. Whipping each other with their dish cloths, coming up behind and ‘bumming’ each other, pulling trousers down, touching the fish and then putting their fingers in each others faces 😂 I mean all immature really but whatever gets them through the day.

Making bottles while out

Don’t come for me, I’m a first time mam and still learning! When I am out, I haven’t been doing a “hot shot” or mixing formula into hot water as I have been using the nuby rapid cooler and just cooling the correct amount of water down e.g. 4oz of boiling water then pouring it into a bottle (I use mam bottles) and then adding the powder but I have been researching and it says I should be mixing it the powdered formula into hot water to get rid of any bacteria however when I am out I can’t sterilise the nuby rapidcooler and sometimes we use about 3 or 4 bottles depending how long we are out. I use SMA First Infant Milk. What does everyone else do? I’m stressing🤣 I need advice as I don’t really want to have to get pre-made formula as it’s just means having to spend even more money.

Would you make someone wait a few days after flying on a plane before coming to see your newborn?

My reason being that planes are full of germ ridden strangers and I’m already going to be paranoid about germs with my baby being a winter born baby.

My mum implied that I’m being dramatic.

Opinions needed!

So my partner and I aren't that well off financially. We vave a 19 month old and I'm 30 weeks pregnant. We wanted to move to a 2 bed flat before baby comes but it seems we can't afford it comfortably.

Is it unrealistic to change our 1 bed flat to a 2 bed, where we'd change the front room slightly for my partner, me and the newborn to sleep so that my toddler can have his own room. I'm also weary of my son having to get used to being in his own room before baby comes, so us staying where we are would enable him time for that.

Or, do we push for another flat that's bigger and more expensive and scrape by?

What are your thoughts?

Had my 13wk appt with the OB for my second pregnancy yesterday. It’s not my first rodeo, so I already know what to expect from this office, but I just hate the aaaaattitude I get from them sometimes!

The nurse mentioned the NIPT blood test when I got to the exam room, so I just said, “oh, no thank you. I’ll be declining genetic testing.” She kinda paused and made a face. Then she said, ok well your chart says you’re due for your pap, so I’ll have you undress … and I said, “oh, no. I’d just feel more comfortable waiting until after I deliver to have my next pap if that’s ok.” She made a face again and said “oh, you’ll be declining that too well ok! Here is a pamphlet on the suggested vaccines for your next appt and the doctor will be in in a minute!”

🙄 wtf is that about. I have every right to decline whatever service they’re offering for whatever reason. Also, what’s with the judgement? So I don’t want the NIPT? Ok, that feels like a pretty normal preference. So I want to wait on a pap? I’m low risk and regularly get them anyway. Feels like a pretty normal choice? Ease up, lady!

Sleep consultant is it worth it?

My 6 months old wakes up multiple times a night, has early mornings, napsnonly 30 min etc. Multiple things can be improved. Baby is thriving and happy, but I am exhausted. Spoke with sleep consultant who said that within 2 weeks baby will sleep much better etc. But there is no guarantee that we will be successful - some factors that affect sleep cannot be improved ( colics, regression, teething etc.) Obviously it is not for free. So I am wondering, who had sleep consultant support, what was the experience and is it worth it?
