So my little boys been at childminder since he was 9 months old-3 and then he’s currently attending nursery school 3-4(sept)
We’ve been pulled today by a teacher who has said “he’s becoming more dangerous, he goes fast on his balance bike and climbs the slide the wrong way” and his responses are becoming ever more clever for example she told him, “he needed to be safe on his bike” he said “I am I’ve got my helmet on”.
How do I go about his smart ass remarks firstly? And secondly would this behaviour worry you as I’m not sure what to think?
He’s a very literal to the point kinda child, I don’t know if he’s just growing in confidence or if he is genuinely being “naughty”. As a teacher myself, being pulled by a nursery teacher about his behaviour has mortified me as we all know what teenagers are like now a day👀

It sounds to me like she didn't explain thouroughly enough to him. Maybe she needed to say 'good job on wearing your helmet but slow riding is safe riding too'.
I have been getting similar comments because my boy gives very excited hugs and sometimes rocks with other children which leads to him being told off but he never does this in malice it's just excitement that we need to teach him to channel:)
