Tantrums…

LO is 1 in 3 weeks and this past week I have seen such a change in behaviour. If he can’t have something (because it’s unsafe) he gets so upset and has a tantrum. I try stay calm and offer something suitable, all the chat gpt advice 🤣…

Just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this? Is it just part of learning.. is it frustration because he can’t communicate?

Help? 🥴🫶🏻

Oh yes, my LB is 1 on the 9th and tantrums over anything if I say No🤣 we have the whole throwing ourself to the floor, screaming all sorts! I’m pretty certain my other 2 went through this phase although he does seem earlier than them, usually frustration of not being able to do something, and learning what’s safe and what isn’t x

Yes!!! Definitely finding her voice and showing us when she wants something or doesn't want something taking away!

CPS?

Something’s wrong with me. My LG was wailing & crying & screaming & all I did was watch. Didn’t feel like picking her up to comfort her & still don’t.. should I just turn myself in?

Brest feeding 6 months plus

Hi. Silly question but how does people navigate Brest feeding when baby gets their teeth? I never made it this far while b feeding my other two so I’m not sure what the next stages will look like.

Imposter Syndrome

Does anyone else feel like you have imposter syndrome being a mom?

I had my first a couple weeks before I turned 38 and I had already accepted I wouldn't have kids (not by choice).

I remember going to my appointments feeling like I wasn't as pregnant or really pregnant like the other patients in the lobby were. I often catch myself feeling like this isn't my life and I'm playing house my child. I love him so much, but I feel like this just isn't real. He's 15 months so I've had time to come to terms.

Has anyone else felt something like this? How did you get over it?

Long night wakings and exhaustion

My 4 week old wakes once/ twice in the night. Problem is that the wake period is really long. It’s not that he’s awake for the whole time, but he struggles to get comfy again in his next to me. It often means I’m awake from about 2-4am and then he wakes again around 6 and we don’t get back to sleep after that one. We don’t get to sleep until around 10:30/11 as that is when he has his evening feed. My toddler is also waking in the night too sometimes. I’m so so tired that I can’t think straight and I’m also doing nursery runs/ looking after a toddler at the same time as a newborn and just feeling really overwhelmed. My husband helps out but he’s back at work and is knackered too. Is anyone else having similar issues?

When to stop C curl and restricted blankets?

May be too soon but just out of interest. When is it safe to no longer sleep in C curl around baby/child? My girl is 10 months but very long and I can no longer do C curl well 😅. Plus her whole bottom half is past my waist now which is where I keep the blanket too.
