Same boat, also wakes at 6 for the day. It's exhausting. And we have baby #2 on the way this week! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Am I wrong for not covering up while breastfeeding in my own house?

I am a single mom who is breastfeeding. When I’m in public, yeah I cover up because that’s my personal preference. But when I am at home alone, I am just fully top exposed. No care in the world.

Well my soon to be ex husband came waltzing in unannounced. No heads up or nothing. (No he don’t live there anymore) as soon as he walks in, he sees me topless breastfeeding our new born son. As soon as he sees, he says, “wtf is wrong with you? I don’t wanna see that shit. Cover up!” I had no idea he was coming over. Otherwise I would’ve covered up. But yet again, it’s my house. You didn’t tell me you were coming through. So if you don’t like what you see, there’s the door. Am I wrong for not covering up while breastfeeding in my own house?

Hurts to have sex

I'm almost 6 weeks postpartum and have already gotten the okay from my obgyn to have sex again but me and my husband tried and it hurt really bad, I didn't start feeling or anything but it hurt to sit after as well (we did not continue when it started hurting) any advice? Me and my husband's sex drives are high and I miss being intimate with him but don't want to undo any healing I have accomplished

Health visitor

Does anyone know what health visitor does at home? I had my baby 17 days ago at 36 weeks via emergency c section. We have been to our midwife appts and now have health visitor on Wednesday. I’ve heard they are really judgemental and I’m petrified. I’ve been struggling with breastfeeding and I’m on a feeding plan as she’s dropped just below birthweight again.
I don’t want a judgy health visitor making me feel shit in my own home xx

What is normal post vaginal delivery?

I had a relatively normal vaginal delivery of my first baby 4 days ago. I have a second degree vaginal tear and I was pushing for just shy of 4 hours. My question is, how quickly did you start to notice healing after your vaginal delivery? I'm still in so much pain when walking, particularly up the stairs and I feel like there's so much swelling to the right of my vagina like in the soft tissue? Sitting down really hurts despite a 3-day course of ibuprofen pessaries. I just don't know if I should be doing something different to help healing/ seeking further medical advice or if this is all completely normal?

Would you make a birthday registry for your kids?

My 2 sons are having their 3rd and 4th birthday together. Everyone’s asking what to get them and last year I told 2 people the same thing. I don’t want to do that this year. But I don’t know if it’s rude to make a registry or if people would feel some type of way.
