No reassurance from my care team

Hi gals, I’m 34 weeks today and a ftm feeling like I have no reassurance from my care team at all… I went to see my midwife today and mind you the last bit of reassurance I had was at 19 weeks with an anatomy scan, my midwife had informed me more than once I won’t be sent for another scan unless I pay for a private one on my own

At 31 weeks my fundal height was measuring 32cm today I’m measuring 33cm that’s 1 cm difference between 3 weeks this would mean he’s now measuring under… why am I the only one concerned about this? I don’t know if he’s big or small anything haven’t seen him on ultrasound for weeks I’ve had no reassurance that’s he’s growing okay and that my body is doing the right thing for him I was also informed I’m high risk for pre eclampsia I’m on a low dose of aspirin until 36 weeks every appointment they don’t test my urine for protein to check and I go into labour n delivery with concerns and symptoms of pre eclampsia they shut me down tell me it’s acid reflux and send me home every time… has anyone’s antenatal care experience been similar?? I feel so not reassured and under cared for? I’m worried about little man’s growth.

At 31 weeks the normal fundal height range is 29-33, then at 34 weeks it’s 32-36. I appreciate you’re concerned about slow growth, but it looks like he’s within the normal range which is why it hasn’t been flagged as a concern. I also wouldn’t fixate on fundal measurements too much, as they’re unreliable and an outdated way of measuring growth - two different midwives could hold the tape slightly different and get different results at the same time. My trust doesn’t even do them anymore.

What symptoms are you experiencing that there saying is just acid reflux?

Have movements been okay? Hearing the heartbeat at appointments?

Pain in my upper chest, headaches and dizziness which is what I’m being told to watch for but when I go get checked they tell me it’s acid reflux and I know it’s not bc I have acid reflux every night pretty much and it’s a different feeling

They don’t test my urine often and they haven’t tested my bloods since the start

Dilation stories

So y'all I just went to the DR and found out I'm 1 cm dilated. Can hear some of y'all stories of when y'all gave birth? Was it quick after you found out you were 1cm dilated or did it take a few more weeks to give birth ?

Bleeding After Sex

I’m 12weeks postpartum and i noticed that anytime I have sex I get some bleeding after words, it’s mostly brown in colour and it’s not heavy enough to fill a pad. I mostly use pant liner. After some days it stops, then when I have sex again i start to bleed again. (Same Color, same amount of blood). Should I be worried? Is this normal ?

Tiger Balm?

I mentioned to my OB/GYN that I had been using tiger balm from time to time for lower back pain and she looked at the ingredients and said that she would recommend against it but honestly is anybody truly listening to that advice or are we still using tiger balm?

Spina bifida diagnosis

Hey all, we just had a private gender scan which revealed spina bifida on our baby, it was so scary as the staff didn’t know how to act. I’m now just waiting and waiting for my useless hospital to get someone in to confirm this and discuss further (we are in limbo, they won’t let us use another local hospital)
We are scared stiff and totally unaware about what the future holds… is there any advice for us/ any other uk sb mums who would like to connect?
