20 week scan - Measuring small

I’m not too educated but at my 20 week scan my baby was only 294 and I didn’t realise that was small

So I had my daughter in a different trust and I was never told she was measuring small or that there was any concerns.

Now Im pregnant with my second and have chose have my care at a different trust. They have flagged up that my daughter was born small and that due to this Im high risk and will need extra scans with this baby. I was really confused as nobody ever expressed any concerns at first trust.

Fast forward to my 20 scan and have been told my son is measuring small around 10th centile and they want to monitor me and baby.

I am not worried as I think its just different hospitals having different protocols and my daughter was 6.8 pounds when she was born and I was 6 pounds when I was born, so I think its just genetic, she was totally healthy. Try not to stress xx

Our first was on the smaller side and ended up growing to the 25th centile. I am currently pregnant with baby number 2 and had my 20 weeks scan last week. I was told, this time the baby is in the 50th centile, so it's bigger than the first and they said that's totally normal because I was worried... Every baby has their own genetics and disposition. So, I wouldn't worry too much.

My first was a 'small baby' and I had many scans towards the end. She came at 34 weeks but she was absolutely perfect for her gestation. They do normally catch on x

I was told 50th centile this time but this is my 3rd pregnancy and it wasn't mentioned during my last 2 pregnancies but also estimated babies weight to be more than average and his head to be less than average but again this was all new my youngest is 3 so I'm curious why it's changed in just 3 years. Also they no longer check heartbeat or measure bump before 24 weeks which my other 2 pregnancies heartbeat and measurements were taken at my 16w appointment.

I’m nearly 35 weeks now and have been having scans since 20 weeks. Baby on 5th centile so have been referred to fetal medicine for a scan at 36 weeks and now have to have twice weekly ctg monitoring. Baby hasn’t dropped dramatically over the pregnancy and has always hovered around 10th. I have a feeling they’ll want to deliver around 37/38 weeks 🥴
