For those whose toddler got the 18 month jabs, how was it?

Our son is getting his 18 month jabs on Tuesday (thankfully with everything going around). Just wondering how it was for your little ones, was there a fever or anything?

My daughter was fine, no fever, not even cranky just went about her day as normal. She just cried having them done. I don’t think they have the jab that gives them a fever in this lot so shouldn’t have a fever x

A little fever, but mostly his leg swelled up really badly for several days and he had trouble walking on it. Kept him topped up with Calpol and he was ok. He did cry quite a bit - bring a little distraction with you for immediately after (stickers, a snack, maybe a small toy).

Zero side effects!

she cried when she had them done but stopped once we’d left the building, no side effects afterwards x

Cried when they were given. But he had fruit and got a new hot wheels car in the reception and was absolutely fine from then. No reaction or fever x

Which are the 18 month ones? I’ve done everything in the red book that’s needed and don’t remember any 18 month ones (plus my boy is nearing 18m so I need to look into that)

Left over nappies

What do people do with leftover nappies when their babies go up a size, I have lots of size 1,2 and 3 from when my baby sizes up and im not sure what to do with them , binning seems wrong , charity and food and living banks only take them when it’s a sealed brand new pack , what do you do with your leftovers

Do you wash your hands after changing a nappy?

I've been to quite a few baby groups where I've noticed a lot of her mums don't wash their hands after they change their baby. they just change them in the room and then carry on with the class. Personally, I find it gross and the same as going to the toilet without washing your hands. I wondered whatever everyone else thought.

Lump in breast when breastfeeding

I have found a lump in my breast that is sore to touch and hard. It feels kind of moveable. Has anyone had this while breastfeeding? It’s not mastitis as I’ve had that a few times

Confession one time I met a cool mom on here

We hung out in person like 5 times and it seemed pretty good. Our kids got along. I was struggling with post partum depression and I missed a few of her texts and didn’t see and I convinced myself she ghosted me and I got super mad and I suppose she thought I did the same to her and we didn’t speak for like 3 months. Then we tried hanging out again and again convinced myself she didn’t like me and that there was weird vibes and we never spoke again. After my post partum went away I realize she never ghosted me and there wasn’t really anything weird. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️friendship lost.

Is it blood

My 6months baby spitted out curdled milk and it had red fibre like thing in it. Is it blood? Has anyone seen it before with their baby. He had avocados in the morning and this spit up was at night
