Do you wash your hands after changing a nappy?

I've been to quite a few baby groups where I've noticed a lot of her mums don't wash their hands after they change their baby. they just change them in the room and then carry on with the class. Personally, I find it gross and the same as going to the toilet without washing your hands. I wondered whatever everyone else thought.

I used to see a lot of ladies, when I used to work in the city in a big office building, not talking about moms here, running into the bathroom, doing their thing very quickly and running out out of the bathroom immediately without washing their hands🤪that is scary

My partner and I always wash our hands after changing our little one's nappies. That's like a no brainer for us because we touch and cuddle with our little one afterwards. There can always be residue of urine and poo on your hands.
If we change the nappy somewhere where we don't have a sink and soap accessible, we use either water from our water bottle or a new wet wipe to clean our hands and every time disinfectant spray afterwards before touching anything else. I would do at least that if I am in a play group. You don't want to touch your baby's toys with dirty hands, neither do you want someone else to touch toys with dirty hands that your baby uses

That or hand sanitizer if there isn’t a sink close by.

I normally use hand sanitiser except for poop nappies, but might still wash my hands if I can get to a sink

Quite often if we’re out and about, I don’t purely because my toddler is really scared of hand dryers. However, I do keep hand sanitizer in my bag, so I always make sure to use some of that, it may be that someone sees me leaving the bathroom and thinks I’ve not washed but I’m just trying to get out of there before the hand dryer goes off and my toddler has a meltdown šŸ˜‚ x

Are they definitely not using hand sanitiser and It’s just subtle?

What do people do with leftover nappies when their babies go up a size, I have lots of size 1,2 and 3 from when my baby sizes up and im not sure what to do with them , binning seems wrong , charity and food and living banks only take them when it’s a sealed brand new pack , what do you do with your leftovers

Lump in breast when breastfeeding

I have found a lump in my breast that is sore to touch and hard. It feels kind of moveable. Has anyone had this while breastfeeding? It’s not mastitis as I’ve had that a few times

Confession one time I met a cool mom on here

We hung out in person like 5 times and it seemed pretty good. Our kids got along. I was struggling with post partum depression and I missed a few of her texts and didn’t see and I convinced myself she ghosted me and I got super mad and I suppose she thought I did the same to her and we didn’t speak for like 3 months. Then we tried hanging out again and again convinced myself she didn’t like me and that there was weird vibes and we never spoke again. After my post partum went away I realize she never ghosted me and there wasn’t really anything weird. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøfriendship lost.
