I failed my 1 hour glucose test and my OB went ahead and diagnosed me she said if it is anything over 180 then you pretty much have it and I scored a 188. However I did eat before the test I had a big Zax snack and HI-C fruit punch 😅 I should have ate more light. But I’m requesting a 3 hour test. Have anyone ever been in the situation that they just diagnose you with the 1st test and don’t allow you do the 3 hour test? I’m worried because I want to re-test I feel like it was a false reading. Plus I feel normal idk.

you can eat but not have anything with sugar like definitely not the hi-c. that could’ve definitely thrown off the test

My OB told me to only eat protein dense food and no sugar whatsoever. I had sausage and eggs. It was probably your juice that threw it off, Im surprised she diagnosed you after the first test, I thought it was normal that they dont diagnose you until you take and fail the 3 hour one as well?

I was told not to eat anything before hand. I had to do both the 1 hour and the 3 hour test. Not drinking any water for the duration of the testing period was really tough. I scheduled my early morning so that helped. I recommend that you try early morning for your next test. Eat a light and healthy breakfast if allowed. Good luck!

Is anyone else so emotional about the babies gonna be 1 cos I’m an emotional mess my baby boy is 1 on the 17th and he wil be my last baby and I just want to keep him a baby as long as I can but this year has just went by too fast. I also had a traumatic experience with he’s birth and complications after it I think as it coming close to year it’s bringing back a lot of emotions x

My 3 year old was bouncing on the bed and I was on my phone and he landed on the right side of my belly I’m 29 weeks and it didn’t hurt but felt like pressure and I haven’t felt any pain I have felt baby boy kick and move around but I just hope since I am in the 3rd trimester baby is okay? I did pray to god already and I’m just hoping that baby is okay. But I’m kinda worried

Hey ladies, looking for some advice.
I was already plus size (actively losing weight) before pregnancy so I’m already belly heavy however since I’ve reached 18 weeks my belly feels so heavy and I’m already starting to show
Finding it hard when I’m walking for a certain length of time now (nothing crazy) - my belly feels so heavy and it’s getting me out of breath. Is there anything I can do to help ease this?
I’ve ordered a pregnancy support band in hopes this will help but me and my partner are going to USA end of this month when I’ll be 21 weeks and it’ll entail quite a bit of walking (again nothing crazy but walking around the parks with plenty of sitting breaks etc)
