How did you celebrate your baby’s 1st birthday?

So I’m basically going back and forth on doing something intimate and small with immediate family. Or something a little bigger. Because in all honestly my baby will be too small to even remember😭

I think for her first it will be big , that just seems to be the tradition but afterwards it will be immediate family and maybe 1/2 family friends.

For me it’s not whether she remembers it’s about who actually comes & sadly my side never travels so I don’t see the point but my husband’s family and friends are just looking for an excuse to get together .

No friends came. Only 3 family members

if we lived near family we would go all out with cousins and stuff and have a big party, but everyone is too far away. For my first child my parents came to visit and we did a small family party (aka the four of us fed her a little angel food cake and took a bunch of photos) so we were doing something similar for my second this month. Although this time his older sister will be excited to decorate and have a birthday theme lol. But in reality keeping it very small.

The first craving my Asian ancestors in my body is asking for during my first trimester.😎
I went from no appetite to have three bowls of them straight 😂
I feel pretty healthy too as I added in lots of bean sprouts, carrots cabbage, onion and broccoli for veggies; eggs, tofu and beef meatballs for protein.
Ahhh I am just so happy 😀

Baby Movement

I’m 19w2d and am super anxious to feel baby move. I’m a plus size girlie and read it can take a little longer for us to feel movement. When did you all feel your baby move for the first time?!!

Is it safe to have sex after losing mucus plug?

We were planning on having sex tonight to try and get labour moving, but I've just lost quite a large amount of my mucus plug and maybe had a bloody show although I'm not entirely sure, it wasn't much blood.

Is it generally safe to have unprotected sex or is there a risk of infection?

37+2 rib pains

The past 3 days I’ve had the most excruciating rib pains to the point I can’t even sleep on my side or sit up without being in constant agony and feeling really breathless has anyone else experienced this?
