C section

I believe it was 10 days. But honestly I was only very uncomfortable the first 3. After that I fell a lot better.

About 3 days, the time I was in the hospital. By the time I got home the Tylenol and ibuprofen were enough.

I want to say 10-12 days max and I weaned off of it because I already knew I was doing too much physically.

About two weeks after leaving the hospital but the two Tylenol and 1 ibuprofen every 6 hours. Only needed a Percocet if the pain was too much and wouldn’t subside. I was also very swollen and my bed is really high so getting off and on wasn’t helping plus standing to cook. I didn’t rest much but after two weeks I didn’t need it

About 3 days. I felt that part of my body numb. I was told it was normal from the epidural. I guess thats the reason why I didnt use it as much.

In the hospital and alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen for the next two days then as needed maybe once or twice a day for a little while. I've had two C-sections and it was pretty much the same for both

Immediately post op started alternating Tylenol/Ibuprofen every 3 hours. Continued that for a little under a week around the clock. Then switched to as needed (usually 1-2x/day) until about day 10 and then never needed anything else.

I alternated Tylenol and Motrin for a full 2 weeks rotating every three hours. Opiates don’t sit well with me so I didn’t fill the prescription. I wanted to stay on top of pain management so continued meds for the full two weeks so be sure I wouldn’t need them rather than testing it out and regretting I didn’t have anything on board.

Both times about a week. I didn’t actually finish my 10 days worth of dihydrocodiene and it’s still in the medicine cabinet.

I never had pain worse than period cramps either time.

2 c-sections and both times I took pain relief for about 3-4 weeks. Paracetamol and ibuprofen only x

First time I was on a while maybe 10days but it caused constipation which added to my troubles second time about 4days and third time’s din need much just 2 days and I was up and running as had older 2 to also look after

Bottom line listen to your body and take it is sometimes the pain is due to over doing things too early in your recovery journey xx

About 5-6 days but they were making me too drowsy to cope, so I stopped x

A few days (maybe 3-4 days). I was given 12 days supply of painkillers and still have most of it left. I think it’s quite different for everyone.

I took pain killers for about a week and a half

They gave you pain meds? 😅

I didn’t have anything. I also had a rupture and an internal bleed. It seeped out for several weeks, needed scans on my incision to see if the bleed stopped/the pool of blood was going down. I had popped stitches and infection. Where I couldn’t breastfeed on the meds. It took about five months for my incision to start looking better. The most painful part was the rupture but then getting the hole packed and dressed every couple of days without any pain meds.

Regular paracetamol & ibuprofen for 2 weeks.

This is a good question because I’ve been on them for two weeks and and wondering if I’m going to become an addict 👀 i had two fibroids removed in my c section so my healing was very painful. On top of developing blood clots and a lupus flare post op. I was getting prescribed hydrocodones and ibuprofen 800’s. Even was offered oxycodone but they made me feel queasy.

1 month and i needed more but i was afraid to get addicted

I had Toradol the night of, then managed with OTC meds. But my c-section was uncomplicated. If you’re worried about addiction, talk to your doctor. If not, take the pain meds and don’t compare yourself to others! A c-section is major surgery!

I took pain meds for about a week. Then afterwards I just used Tynenol and heating pads

I was on paracetamol and ibuprofen for about 2/3 weeks. My site got infected so I don’t know if that had something to do it with it.

3 or 4 days was enough for me
