Im due on the 9th October and started buying a few bits now xx trying to space it out so it’s a bit more affordable- often pram places will store them for you for a few months too xx

We started getting a few bits too after our 12 week scan. Mainly Vinted 2nd hand stuff but want to spread it out so it didn’t feel so overwhelming, it’s been wonderful to see the lovely bits amongst all the nausea! Haven’t brought anything electrical/new/expensive that couldn’t be returned if needed feels too risky at this stage xx

With my first, we got a lot of things second hand. After the 20 week scan we started to look for good deals on marketplace for things like next to me, bouncer, cot etc. We bought the car seat new at about 35 weeks to maximise the expiry date on it. And I think we ordered our pram new at about 28 weeks as it had a 1-2 month delivery time. All the smaller bits I bought gradually from after the 12 week scan

I’m due in October too and I’ve started getting a few bits as I’m buying as much as I can second hand. We’ll get the big/new bits like pram and car seat and crib in the summer but things like clothes and books I’ve started picking up in charity shops.
