BP

Would this be considered high? I’m 39 weeks pregnant & my blood pressure tends to creep towards the end and I’ve been induced both times for it. I wasn’t diagnosed with preeclampsia they were just being safe by inducing me.
I’m hoping for a home birth this time round so I don’t want them to have another reason to want to induce me but also I want to be safe for me and baby. Should I keep monitoring it or contact triage today?
Feeling disheartened ☹️☹️☹️

Anything over 140/90 is considered high! But I would rest for half an hour and then do 3 readings! In that half hour just chill out don’t talk ect as that can make your bp fluctuate x

I had exactly this. I was also induced for both births due to mildly high bp fortunately both inductions were quite easy and had a quick and minimally painful experience. I would say eating and drinking also raises your blood pressure as it increases blood flow to your stomach. Sit nice and calmly for 30mins feet on the floor no talking

Am I the only last time pregnant mom...

Who isn't going to miss being pregnant, miss giving birth, or the thought this is the last newborn. Like I have no sad feelings about it being my last. At this point I'm looking forward to the future when my baby will be over, and this is all just past memory.
