Is she potty trained? If so, I would make her go pee if it's been a while. We have to do this with me son. X

Is she drinking enough? Idk I feel like that’s the main thing I’d check

My 4 year old does this. She has a bladder of steel! She defo doesn’t drink enough and I’m constantly encouraging her to drink more. Sometimes she’s just too busy to remember to wee and other times it’s a power thing - she won’t go because I want her to.

I'd be making sure she's drinking enough THEN consider seeing about it.

Monitor input and output.

Sounds like she needs more water. If she won't drink water, try adding fruit pieces, adding ice, getting a cool cup. Or offer cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, watermelon etc to up her hydration

I was this kid! I distinctly remember it doing my mum’s head in but I just was never thirsty? I also hated using public toilets / loos at school, and cups that were too big (I don’t remember why really, just that there was pressure to drink it all - I was an anxious kid) so my mum would give me a ‘special’ tiny cup, it was like a morroccan tea glass I think, so I felt less pressure to drink huge amounts but naturally would over the course of a meal x

My 4yo has done this off & on for a couple years, it stopped as soon as he quit peeing the bed. My now 16yo did similar, but he’d at least go if I said something, our 4yo wouldn’t even go first thing in the morning. He quit peeing the bed a couple months ago, also nothing was wrong with him, just apparently learning how to hold it for 12hrs at a time so he could quit using underpads at night, cause now he’s throwing a fit if we try to use them in case he has a wet night, got so mad about it a couple nights that he actually went in his room before bed & peed on 3 of them on purpose, to get his point across. 😬

Naps in the car

I'm currently sitting in the car on my drive (with the windows open) because my 6 month old fell asleep only 20 minutes ago so I'm letting her finish up the nap.

Got me thinking though - as it gets warmer, are people still leaving their babies to finish their nap if they fall asleep or are you taking them in right away as it's getting warmer (14 degrees where I am today)?

MIL kissing baby

My baby girl was born on 2/17/26, my husband and I told our immediate family no kisses at all, wash hands etc. For the first 2 times his family visited they followed the rules and to be honest I didn’t let them hold her because I had a feeling. But since they seemed to be respecting it I let them hold her on the 3rd time and everything seemed fine. The 4th visit she came up to us and straight went to kiss her head, it gave me no time to respond. I got very upset and went upstairs with her. My husband followed asking if I needed help, I told him I was very upset and just said just drop it. Fast forward a few days and she gets sick. He refuses to accept it was from her, he keeps saying it was probably him. They wanted to come over for Easter and I said no, I am still very upset. She has been the only one breaking the rule, my mom was here helping me out with baby and the house stuff for about a month and she respected it from day 1. We have gone to several doctor appt and ER visits because she was not getting better. Its been over a week now and she seems to be on the mend now. My husband always gets upset because I get upset when his family does stuff like this. Any advise?
