Follow up scan…

For those who have had a growth scan from 36 weeks & it’s shown a drop in baby’s centile what was that outcome of your follow up scan?

I’ve got one on Friday (I’ll be 38weeks)
I’ve not had this issue before in previous pregnancies and now I’m worried if baby isn’t gaining weight properly that they will want to deliver her early 😩

I had my 36 weeks scan and they saying he is 90th centile so I have been monitoring every week by scan to see how much he grows but more likely they will induce me from 39 weeks and I am 38 week today.

I had a scan at 32 and 34 weeks and he dropped 2 centile. They weren't concerned as said scans aren't 100% accurate.

I have another one Wednesday, if he has dropped again then they go with over all figure unless really concerned on the centile.

What centile what she at?

Please try not to worry growth scans aren't 100%.

I had a growth scan at 36wk and he dropped to 14th centile, had previously been 50th all other previous scans. Had a follow up scan at 38wk and he was tracking back up at 40th centile so the consultant and sonographer said it was most likely scan error at 36wks. They both said that this late in pregnancy scan accuracy is not great and his position was already very low so lessening accuracy even further. I’m 39wk now and have another scan at 40wk if still pregnant, so some increased monitoring but all signs point to everything being okay. The centile drop made me so anxious in those two weeks so hopefully this is a bit reassuring, hope all goes well for you 💪🏼💪🏼
