Yes it has an impact on sperm health as cited above. Remember the quality of sperm/dads health also affects the strength and effectiveness of placenta too.

To go with what the others said, yeah...... your husband needs to stop smoking. Is he open to looking into sources to help him quit and support groups?

Well my partner smokes and we have two healthy children but we've also had two miscarriages so I don't really know. I say it's the luck of the draw. We do plan to have a third someday but we'll see what happens.
