Not rolling or showing an interest

Hi everyone,

Firstly I know you shouldn’t compare one child to another but finding it hard at the minute with my son. He’ll be 7 months old in 3 days. I also have a 2 year old daughter. At this age, my daughter was rolling confidently and was army crawling across the floor. My son still isn’t rolling confidently. He can’t sit unassisted, only for short periods of time and that’s with using his hands on his legs for support. He has rolled a few times from front to back and back to front, but from back to front his arm gets stuck and he doesn’t know what to do with it yet. He’s just not interested. He gets plenty of time playing on the floor with toys and I encourage him to move by putting toys out of his reach but after a few attempts, if he cant reach it he’ll just happily lie there lifting his legs into the air. Not sure if I’m over worrying since my daughter was so different but I’ve also just been putting some things in my car and seen my neighbours baby (who was born in November 2025) in a walker and moving around a bit! I wouldn’t even think about putting my son in one of those yet as I’m really not sure how that would go. Anyone else’s little one the same?

My boy is 7 months 3 weeks, no sign of him rolling yet. I too am getting a little concerned (a little). He sits fairly well unassisted now, doesn't mind tummy time depending on mood, rotates now and again, but no attempt to roll at all! Sorry, I am of no help, but just know that you aren't alone! This is my first so I am unable to make any comparison. He's super happy and healthy, that's a huge positive for me. 🙂 Will do what I can to help encourage him now over the next couple of months before worrying. Good luck Mamma.

My boy is 7 months and I also have a 2 year old daughter. She was sitting and rolling at 5 months, crawling at 7 and and walking at 10 months (which I know is all very early) - my son can roll and occasionally sit but we’ve got to be there to support him or catch him. No signs of crawling or army crawling anytime soon!!

Just remember, boys are A LOT more lazy than girls!! And ofc, every baby is different. They will get there eventually!! Some babies don’t roll and go straight to crawling!

The only time we dont want a mans soft side...

Hey ladies.... i have something I want to just get off my chest. Ive noticed my husband becoming soft pretty early but lately hes been getting softer a lot more while having sex and its hard to enjoy the finish line when it becomes soft mid way . Because men have high ego about this stuff ive never talked to him about it. I know itll embarrass him. And culturally this is still very hash hash. Hes going to be 41 this year but the softness started around late 20s from what I Remmeber or early 30s. I dont think its work stress either. I guess i want to ask if this age is normal? I thought they were good until at least mid 50s?

8 week jabs 🙈

When should I give my little one Calpol before or after?

The doctors have told me to give it to him before and other people have told me to give it to him straight after as it could hide some of the symptoms.
