it could possibly be uncomfortable for baby if they’re windy or have just eaten as being laid down flat worsens the feeling of both not just them attention seeking, try burping and winding baby before laying down after sitting slightly up right for sometime , other things you can do is have a contact nap with them and put baby down once they’re in a deep sleep, make sure to lay there feet down first head last and keep ur hand under head for a few seconds before removing slowly.

A two month old baby SHOULD be close to you. And should want to be.

That is not attention seeking.

A 2 month old attention seeking? Girl please🤦🏼‍♀️

I mean to be fair, a 2 month should HAVE your attention. So if it doesn’t have your attention, it make seek your attention. But that’s all normal. A 2 month old needs its mother’s attention.

My baby fake cries 😂😂😂 he’s in my arms 24/7 and if I put him down to run the bathroom he will cry for me again. I think it’s normal! Soak it up while you can you’ll miss these cuddles one day

Rock to Sleep? Or Cry to sleep?

not too long ago, my fiancé allowed our baby to cry himself to sleep because our son was tired. I entirely oppose to this way of nurture I despise it. There’s no way that these tiny creatures who were born with no coping abilities are somehow going to go to sleep with no comfort, I find it absolutely neglectful. I wanna share this topic asking for a mothers opinion as well how do you feel about the “cry it out” method does it work? Does it not? What’s your thoughts on it?

Cleaning girls privates

My baby is 3 months old, I noticed she was red in between her lady parts. Which would make sense as to why she didn’t want to be sat and kept straightening up her body ☹️ I cleaned with warm water and sudocream.

Mammas with girls, what’s the best wipes? Or do you just use warm water and a cotton pad? How do I keep her little area red free? Does she need a bigger size nappy also? Any advice welcome!

Co-sleeping and a glass of wine?

So this post I know might be a one where you will judge me, but hey I am only human.

I haven’t had any alcohol since before I was pregnant. I’m co- sleeping my 9 month old and I am quite anxious to put her in any risk.

The weather is so nice and I really fancy a nice cold glass white wine on the terrace.

I know the advice is not to drink anything and co - sleep. But my baby is good at letting me know when she is unhappy.

But what is your thoughts?

Sex

Has anyone else not done the deed after giving birth yet?

I am 13 weekspp and feeling guilty for not spending 'quality' time with my partner. He's been very supportive and that it's just I feel so tired at the end of the day I just don't have anything left in me.

We also have a 3 year old and I do the housework and I also exclusively pump so any free time I have gets taken up. My 13 weeks old girl doesn't like being held by anyone else apart from me or my partner so handing them off for a few hours wouldn't work she also contact naps during the day which is fine as she sleeps through the night in her cot. Once they go to sleep I'm in the kitchen washing up bottles and preparing for my last pump of the day and MOTN pump I don't usually end up going to bed until 11:30pm.
