What would you do if you had severe chronic pain that made it so you couldn’t do shit

I take the max amount of codeine in a day, every day. And prescribed morphine prn. My life would not be worth living without painkillers! I don’t give a fuck about the long term effects tbh, because otherwise I wouldn’t even make it to the long term

I am doing a trial of Low dose Naltrexone… it seems like it either life changing or doesn’t do much but it’s low risk and low side effects. For me worth a shot.

I have fibromyalgia and I'm just raw dogging life because as much as it hurts it's not degenerative so my muscles, bones, and joints are unaffected even if it feels like hell. I'd rather not have the illusion of being pain free with side effects and more medication than to cope the way I have for 30 odd years before I got my diagnosis.
