Ready for baby to come

Anyone else basically ready for baby to come 😅 I'm hoping that I'm early with this one as long as he's healthy and at a good weight(so far he is compared to my first)
I'm sick of being uncomfortable and in pain around my pelvis

Sameeeee. I didn't get fed up with my first until about 37/38 weeks and he came at 39+2. I'm 35 weeks today 😂 hoping this one follows suit and comes a little early xx

Like I know I'm only 35+4 but if he was to make his arrival next week I'd be happy as everything is looking good on my growth scans

I dont like the whole movement monitoring and that would be my reason to see baby earlier than later - peace of mind

I’m sorry but does anyone else find it secretly satisfying when …

When you were the first of your friends to have kids and they low key fell out of your life, never supported you, and ghosted you a little and now they’re having their first pregnancy and they start reaching out for help and advice.

My friend just called crying because her parents called her fat at 25 weeks pregnant (she looks normal). She was obviously very upset and I let her know they were assholes and not to worry.
My parents did the same thing to me with my weight and non of my childless friends understood or gave a shit.

I worry about my age

I’m 39 and have a 4yo and am 33 weeks with my second. I’ll be 40 in September. And honestly, I’m kinda sad about it. I wish I’d started having babies earlier. I worry that when this baby turns 20, I’ll be 60. My parents are in their 60s now and they’re getting so much joy from being with their grandkids and I’m worried I’m not going to be too old to really enjoy them.

I love my husband, but sometimes I wish we’d found each other sooner and had babies earlier. IDK. I’m just feeling sad about the passage of time.

This will be a topic at my next therapy session lol

Thanks for letting me vent.

Do you usually listen to your body/intuition when you feel weird around someone or get bad vibes around someone?

I have had incidents in the past where my body had this involuntary feeling around certain people. I was unsure what exactly their intentions were during that time but I found out that my intuition was right. Except theh ended up being worse than I realized. A mutual friend told me about one of those people threatening to kill behind my back. (He went to jail for that after that) and the other person was a lady who was trying to get me in trouble when I was innocent. My social anxiety is off the charts after these traumatic experiences. There is someone else in my life now who gives off very mixed vibes. On one hand he is nice to my face. He seemed to have good intentions for the most part even if I didn't agree with everything he does. (We agree on a lot of things but he also does a lot of things that I don't agree with.) But now I am at a point where I feel panic anytime he is around me. I feel so judgemental but almost anytime that I ignored my intuiton and gave the people the benefit of the doubt it got worse. Its made my trust issues worse and made me afraid to get close to anyone whether it is a friend or family member or partner.

Tips on fully emptying breasts?

So when I gave birth to my son 2/26, I was quickly increasing in production on my colostrum. The lac consultant and all the nurses who helped me hand express said they could feel I had a TON of milk ducts and would easily be able to produce. Well here we are 6 weeks later and there is maybe one pumping session per day I get over 2oz between both breasts. I go back and forth between my wearable “MomMed” brand pump and Madela pump in style pump. I realized recently I needed to replaced the valve on my wearables and have done so. I also realized I am still able to hand express after a 30 min pump session with both types of pumps so I am realizing I don’t get fully empty which is probably why my supply isn’t increasing as I am doing everything else right, (eating oatmeal daily, taking lengendairymilk’s Cash cow supplements, and hydrating with plenty of water and coconut water). Adding hand expression to my pumping sessions has taken FOREVER. Even after like 30 additional minutes of hand expression I am still able to get streams of milk showing me I am still not empty. I am tired, my hands and breasts hurt, and I feel like giving up. Any advice? Please help as I don’t want to fully switch to formula if I don’t have to.
