My little boy is 8 months old and we’re starting to think about upgrading the car seat to an all stages one. Husband’s family live about five hours away (without stops) so I would love people’s recommendations for comfy all stages car seats for longer distance travelling.

We've had terrible experiences with Joie and Graco all stages 360 car seats, they both caused head flopping even with the wedge insert in correct place so I would avoid. Also seemed to be so upright and uncomfortable even when on most laid back setting. The one we now have is a cybex sirona gi i-size 360 - my little boy loves this and is so comfortable, he will actually now nap on a car journey compared to the other 2 I have mentioned. It does up to age 4.

We’ve got two we really love.
The Avionaut Stardust and the Besafe Stretch. They both seem super comfy and have adjustable reclines.
Stardust spins and becomes a HBB, but the Stretch lasts a lot longer rear facing. X
