Fussy baby

For the last few days every time I put my 5 week old down he just cries, sometimes screams. I can’t get anything done. Any tips?

try baby wearing , he might be uncomfortable because of wind being laid flat down it can be painful for them etc, putting them down once there in a deep sleep is an idea too .

My baby has been a bit like this for the last few days during the daytime. I find baby wearing a massive help and it means I can still play with my toddler / get things done. A dummy helped my eldest when she went through this stage so this may help if it’s something you are using / willing to try.

Mine is exactly the same its soo hard, i take him for a walk sometimes he doesn’t settle or sleep without being on my boob. Its so hard

Baby wearing, dummies and I find lying him on his side with a soft fluffy sheet rolled behind him seem to work. You can also look into getting a Rockit or Nuby jitterbug attach it to the cot and have it shake when baby's down

Could it be gas? Mine is 5 weeks and we went through this, dentinox 3 times a day helps her gas and she gat happier

Toddler abusing me :((

Girrrlll, ladiess how do we deal with our toddler hitting us ? Currently my head is buzzing bc my son decided to hit me in the head with a heavy ass tub of cream , but its a non stop occurrence... Last night as we were going to sleep, all quiet , randomly BAM a heavy slap that actually burned my cheek... Ive been doing gentle parenting , saying " no, its not nice " lets be gentle like this *showing how to gently caress someone s face* ... idk what to do anymore... If I can see something coming, I'll stop it before he actually hits me ...but sometimes its just rlly random.. pls help 😔😔

Formula feeding mums

I’m a formula feeding mum never tried breast feeding as I know it would over stimulate me. Does any other formula feeding mums feel judged sometimes for not breastfeeding or even trying to breast feeding?

Sleeping

How’s everyone’s baby’s sleeping? Feel like my little boy is inconsistent. He’s 10 weeks and I try to put him to bed around 6-7pm each night x

Anybody else get woken up by their limited edition 4 month old pterodactyl alarm clock? My son decided at 2 and 3 as well as 4 am was a great time to use his lungs.

I know kids, are just being kids…. But…..

I’m really close to my cousin she has a boy who’s 7 and my little boy is 2. We take them out on play dates but my cousins little boy is purposely not very kind to my boy.
He’s done things like when my boy is on his balance bike kick his football at the bike to try and get him to fall off and I’ve seen him do things like put his foot out as my little boy is running to make him trip up.
My cousin is very much a gentle parenting style and will never shout at him or tell him properly not to do these things?
He even got in my car yesterday and left chocolate all over the seat, water stained the seat and let wrappers all over! I feel like it’s really getting to me but I know if I say something it’ll cause bad feelings. How do I address this behaviour?

Normal toddler behaviour or more to it?

My son is almost 3 and so emotional over everything, he wanted his tractor pyjamas on so I put them on, then he wanted his lightening McQueen PJs on and had a full on meltdown because he was in tractors like he asked, then he asked to go outside, he went outside and cried saying he wanted inside, so he came inside then cried when I shut the door as he couldn’t go outside.

He constantly doesn’t have a clue what he actually wants, moving from toy to toy, room to room, he’s super stubborn with everything.

It’s exhausting and frustrating 😂🙈
