Contact naps

Has anyone have any tips for me please, I’m currently breastfeeding and she always falls asleep on me or I’m rocking her to sleep in my arms, but when I put her down to mosses basket or a crib she will wake up after a few mins…
Any tips how to transfer her? She would not take a pacifier as well…
She sleeps fine in next to me crib in the night so…
Not sure if anyone’s been in similar situation

I struggled with this then I tried swaddling her in a breathable blanket she didn’t like it so I done it like a hf swaddle so it kind of felt like she was still being held and it worked for me

I use a swaddle (Velcro wrap) as the startle reflex was making her wake like every 10 minutes. And I also use a pram rocker but attach it to the basinet (I have a next to me too), that being able to keep gentle rocker her for like an extra 30-45 minutes has really helped deepen the sleep and keep momentum. I also have a breathable blanket I will sleep with (one of babies) then I put it in the bassinet (obviously nice and tight so it doesn’t move like a bed sheet) and the smell of me helps her still feel held and rocked x

Genuine question for moms that feed baby with breast milk and formula

Hi, I’m a young FTM & I’ve recently heard of a lot of women that do either formula or mixed feeding. Since I exclusively breastfeed, I am just genuinely curious of what are the various reasons women choose this option?
I know some like low milk supply, going back to work & wanting your partner to help - but is there many other ones that maybe are less common/talked about?

Also curious, does the baby not mind having both the boob and bottle if you do mixed feeding?

Sleepover

I have a question and I want to get yall view on it. My son having a sleepover with my bf nephew and niece. The boys are 10 the girl is 7. I said the niece can sleep on a blow up mattress in our room because she doesn't need to be in the same room as the boys. My bf said im thinking too deep into it. What's your view on it

Thrush

EBF mom, are we still breastfeeding our babies if they have thrush in the mouth and you’ve got it on your nipples and are both on medication? We’ve had it for four weeks now using different medicines and the doctor has told me to formula feed for 2 weeks so we can both heal, but I don’t want to stop breastfeeding 😭

Block tf outta me please

The amount of people in this group specifically who are just out right hateful and disrespectful. People come here for genuine advice and lasting friendships. Y'all be cheating on your partners, putting women down, talking trash about your own children or other peoples children. And no I didn't put it in incognito. Know my face and kindly fuck off.

People complaining about others who are busy taking care of their children. Not everyone is a stay at home mom. Not every one can drop what they're doing to go play at the park. Some people genuinely struggle texting back because they are present in the Childs life at all times.

People are going to have a difference in opinion. Call someone “mental” because there's doesn't align with yours is baffling. You expect kindness and respect but dont hand it out.

If this post bothers you BLOCK ME. You are not meant for me. The lack of empathy or understanding is actually disappointing.

8/9 weeks fussiness

Girls, when does it stop 😭

My little one just turned 9 weeks and we had the most awful nights this week.
First it takes ages for her to go down at night, it's constant fighting, moaning, fussing for 4, 5h.
She wakes up after a first stretch and it's 1h30 at the breast with her crying every time I unlatch her.
I just gave her to daddy because I needed a break and she cried for 15min till she finally relaxed in his arms.
It takes us 2h trying to settle her to go back to sleep. And it's gonna be the same again in 2h.
We're exhausted and we don't know what to do anymore.

How long is it going to last?? When will we have a peaceful night again!
