Sleepover

I have a question and I want to get yall view on it. My son having a sleepover with my bf nephew and niece. The boys are 10 the girl is 7. I said the niece can sleep on a blow up mattress in our room because she doesn't need to be in the same room as the boys. My bf said im thinking too deep into it. What's your view on it

Not thinking too deep into it at all. I think thats a good idea. Kids are definitely too curious.

My parents always separated girls and boys when we had sleep overs. My mom would say boys fart in their sleep and girls dont have to suffer through that, 😂. Now I know that she did it because she wanted to be cautious to not give us or them any ideas out of being curious.

I would do the same thing. Youre just trying to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. That should always be the priority with children.

I remember being harassed by boys when I was that age. You are not overthinking!

I agree with you completely

See us woman think with our brains and some men well think with their other head lol. But you are correct that is how I feel fully. Now a days boys and girls are becoming more curious at ages way to young and it doesn’t hurt to be careful. Bc if something did happen the blame would be on you guys.

Honestly, separating genders makes little difference if something were to happen. It's part of the reason I don't allow sleepovers but WHATEVER the sleep arrangement I would be speaking to your children about them calling you ASAP if they in anyway feel uncomfortable by anyone else whilst there. That doesn't matter if it's an adult, another child etc they call you. Let them know you will be right there if you are needed. Go over body boundaries thoroughly - no one touches your body without permission and private areas are private, everyone's should be kept to themselves.

Genuine question for moms that feed baby with breast milk and formula

Hi, I’m a young FTM & I’ve recently heard of a lot of women that do either formula or mixed feeding. Since I exclusively breastfeed, I am just genuinely curious of what are the various reasons women choose this option?
I know some like low milk supply, going back to work & wanting your partner to help - but is there many other ones that maybe are less common/talked about?

Also curious, does the baby not mind having both the boob and bottle if you do mixed feeding?

Is it that deep

My baby did a poo I changed him that was around 8 his dad got in for 8:15 went outside came back and my son had done another poo he starts complaining saying I’m not attentive. He bagged and complained because I hadn’t noticed. Now we’re not talking he changed his nappy. Is it a big deal ?

2nd

My 2.5 year old is brilliant. She has been from easy/simple pregnancy, newborn and now. Sleep, food, doesn’t tantrum etc. She has just been all round great. I would love another like I can’t even explain but I can’t stop thinking about if they are the complete opposite???🤣🤣. Anyone else with the same thoughts?

And I will do it but is it a shock when one is so calm and your second is a bit more wild😆

Block tf outta me please

The amount of people in this group specifically who are just out right hateful and disrespectful. People come here for genuine advice and lasting friendships. Y'all be cheating on your partners, putting women down, talking trash about your own children or other peoples children. And no I didn't put it in incognito. Know my face and kindly fuck off.

People complaining about others who are busy taking care of their children. Not everyone is a stay at home mom. Not every one can drop what they're doing to go play at the park. Some people genuinely struggle texting back because they are present in the Childs life at all times.

People are going to have a difference in opinion. Call someone “mental” because there's doesn't align with yours is baffling. You expect kindness and respect but dont hand it out.

If this post bothers you BLOCK ME. You are not meant for me. The lack of empathy or understanding is actually disappointing.

Cosleeping

My baby is struggling to settle in his crib these days and I’m exhausted. If I put him in my bed with me, he falls asleep instantly, but I am terrified of SIDS.

I always see posts saying ‘cosleeping is fine if done safely’, so can anyone advise how to make cosleeping safe? I do have an Owlet sock.

TIA x
