When should I get worried that my son is showing little interest in crawling? He’s 8 months old? He’s great and sitting and has just started spinning when he sits but will refuse to go on his tummy.

Some babies never crawl 😊 my first didn’t crawl until almost 10 months.. don’t worry!

My girl is 8 months and not interested in crawling either! I’m not too worried my nephew didn’t crawl until 12 months x

Just gotta remember that every baby develops at their own pace

My girl is 10months old and not crawling yet

Mine didn’t crawl until 11 months, 0 interest then just random did it one day x

I only just recently learned some babies just skip crawling all together he might just turn 1 and then take his first steps and you'll be confused thinking "didn't you miss a couple of steps there?"😂

My first didn't crawl at all, she bum shuffled everywhere then walked x

My boy didn't crawl until 10 months, and that was army crawling. He didn't lift up onto to his hands and knees until 11 months. I know it's easy to compare little ones, but honestly they do all get the hang of it in their own time, he will get there 😊🩵

My girl has only started crawling at 14 months 🩷

My sister in law never crawled, my baby started around 6 months and just now has started sitting up. (8 months)
I read in a book and babies can be divided into sitters and crawlers, if they sit first they tend to talk before they walk, and the other way around if they crawl first.
I'm very curious if this would be true for our baby, she does like to scream! But does a lot of Spiderman poses so I feel she will be walking before talking
My 2 year old keeps waking up at 5am and is cranky and tired enough that she wants to go back to sleep but needs lots of cuddles. But because by this point sleep pressure is low she’s takes over an hour to resettle and fall back to sleep. By this point my alarm is going off 6:15am for work 😖😩
She used to wake up nicely around 7am and we’d all be a lot calmer and have breakfast together but now I’m either letting her sleep in a bit so she’s not over tired and there’s always a big rush to get out the door.
Any tips?
She goes to bed at 8-8:30pm naps around 1pm for 1h-1h:30m

Hi moms!
How are your babies sleeping, especially those under 3 months?
My almost 8-week-old baby sleeps for hours in my arms, on my chest, or in the carrier, even while I’m moving around doing chores. But the moment I transfer him to his bassinet, he starts grunting, wiggling, and wakes up and starts crying.
I can spend up to 2 hours trying to get him to nap in his bassinet, and he still doesn’t fall asleep. By then, his next feeding is already coming up, and he hasn’t napped at all! 😩
At night, he sleeps much more peacefully when we bed-share. I’ve also noticed that he’s calm and quiet on my chest but much noisier and more restless in his bassinet.
I’d love to hear your real-life experiences!
What actually helped your baby sleep in their bassinet? Do you use a special swaddle, a particular type of bassinet, or any tricks to make the transfer easier?

I’m looking for recommendations on a baby sling instead of a carrier or wrap, I’ve got both which my baby loves especially when it comes to nap time but it’s a mission getting on and off and she is getting heavier. I just want something quick and easy and didn’t know these even existed! She will be 2 months so not much neck control yet but is 12lbs 14oz, so conscious it needs to be decent for proper support.
Any mums have a sling that they’ve used from this age by any chance that they’ve loved?

I’m a first time mom and my newborn is about 4 weeks now and began being fussy and just about inconsolable around 2 weeks. Most days he doesn’t nap or sleep at all during the day and is crying just about all day. I can’t put him down without him crying & if i’m lucky on the days he does nap he’s down for about 2-3 hours. I was told newborns sleep most of the day and have “wake windows” but mine doesn’t at all. He’s fed, changed & burped but will cry from morning to night and I spend my days holding and rocking him. Any tips?
