So my child dad sent a letter basically saying that if I don’t let him see his child tomorrow then he seeking legal advice so am letting him see her tomorrow in a public place but not letting him have anymore contact this now as I’ve been told by my health that she to young this now and as the dad doesn’t have a bond with her as he wasn’t there for 9 months plus said twice he wants nothing to do with her and is now trying his luck which I feel is more his mum forcing him because he hasn’t come down to try and fight to see his kid but I dk if it will still go to court after tomorrow honestly so scared and stressed and worried about everything am just trying to protect my child and not just pick and choose when he wants us may I add he not willing to move closer to me he lives 4 hours away he in uni and has really bad mental health as to why I don’t think he stable to be looking after a child this now

Idk if it’s the same in other countries but it goes to mediation before it goes to court. Both parties come to an agreement, and if they don’t, it gets taken to court.
He’s not on birth cert - difficult for him
He can’t just claim your child
Don’t let him bully or scare you into handing over your child.
from what i can read on previous replies you are letting yourself get manipulate by this man how he is not on the birth certificate and he will legal fight for it?
You’re the primary parent, courts won’t just give your child away to someone that hasn’t been present and on top of it what he is doing is threatening you. It already doesn’t look good. Get a step ahead and file for full custody and that’s the only way you’ll be able to move forward and not have these kind of worries
