Hi, hope everyone’s surviving the toddler phase! Just a quick question about clothes size. My little boy is nearly 19 months old and is still not properly fitting into 12-18 month clothes they’re too long or don’t fit him on his waist. I am getting very worried now is anyone else having this issue?

Every baby is different. My son is 19 months and in size 2-3 years in most of his clothes but his cousin who’s a couple months older than him is in smaller clothes.

I think it’s really normal. We have a neice that has just turned 3 and only just gone into 2-3 years clothes and my cousins little boy is the same. For our little one we buy different sizes in different shops or different sizes in different types of clothes. Anything that’s a jumper we buy 12-18 as they come up huge on her but from places like primark or Matalan we have to buy 2-3 as we find they’re small. We’ve also found she’s not going up sizes as quick since becoming active like crawling or walking. Try not to worry, we’ve had the same worries we just put it down to the shops/ types of clothes now

My girlie is the same, she’s only JUST going into 12-18M, the 9-12M is getting a bit short in the leg, but the 12-18M is massive 😭 I just decided I’m giving her the oversized look for now 😂😂 xx

Same, it’s totally normal. Growth slows down as they enter toddler stage, 12-18 is 6 months. Before they would have been growing at a faster pace and needing to size up every 2-3 months. Other toddlers will be shorter/ longer/ chubbier/ thinner than yours! X

My son is 19 months. As he is 9-12 months on bottom and 12-18 months top. Xxxx. Don’t worry too much about sizing i think it the same for us girlies we different sizes at different shops. I feel like that with some of the things I get my son. Xxxx.
