Hi All,
We're looking to move to NJ in the near future and would love to get any recommendations on areas to look at with great schools or any hacks on how to get an affordable home in a great school district. I don't drive (new yorker) but my hubby does, I'd ideally like to be able to walk/commute baby to school when she goes. I'm starting to feel very discouraged, budget is ideally below 700k, preferably 600k or less.

I live in the Bergen county area and schools are extremely good here my daughter goes to a private school by our house walking distance ( 6 mins ) & my job is around the corner & they also have public schools as well

I suggest looking up the top schools on U.S. News and World Report and then checking out the prices on Zillow in those school districts, choosing the walkable cities. Most of the “Eastern Corridor” is very urban and walkable. But keep in mind that every school within a district is different so don’t assume that because one school in a certain town is good, that all of the schools in that town are good.
