Toddler ADHD

Hi my son is nearly 6 years old. He has got high frustration level and I feel he is quite impulsive . He is a talker and has difficulty calming him down. He gets distracted easily . He isn’t very hyper active but doesn’t quite sit still either . His attention span is okeyish but not great . He gets carried out easily and gets over excited . How do I know if it’s ADHD or is it just young people growing up ?

What have school said ?

I emailed school to fill in one form to send to gp to refer for adhd assessment .
School never mentioned anything . Teacher only said he likes talking . I’m unsure if my son masks ADHD symptoms in school under discipline ?
