My 9 week old spits up sometimes and it doesn’t seem to bother him. Today he spit up and choked on it. Eyes bulging, watering, etc. it lasted about 10 seconds but it was pretty scary. I flipped him over and firmly gave some blows to the back, and then he started to cry which relieved me. Has this happened to anyone before?

My baby does this all the time it’s normal he even chokes on his saliva now that he’s 4 months and drooling a ton just lean him forward and pat his back firmly he’ll be ok

when my son was a newborn he had terrible reflux, constantly spitting up and choked on it a couple times. so scary!! he has a dairy intolerance and things improved when we cut it out. we also held him upright for at least 30 mins after feeds

My little boy did this when he was 3 weeks old, not on spit up but choked on his milk feeding, absolutely terrified me!! I had to hold him on the palm on my arm face down because he went white n stopped breathing and he was sick everywhere. I was so scared to feed him after that, I’m still very paranoid now feeding him and he’s 15 weeks x

My baby has recently started doing this.. we have been referred to a GI Dr. I hope your baby is ok!
I’ve had to give back blows twice… insanely scary!
