A GP told me to soak the antibiotics in a marshmallow… I didn’t in the end need to do that so I’m not sure how well it works but if you’re struggling might be worth giving it a go!

My little girl has been on antibiotics 4 times in 3 months (she’s got ear problems) and the only way I can get her to take them is lay her on a changing mat, and sing a song and clap my hands while singing, then afterwards, I say yay and cheer! Find a song your little one likes that you remember easily so they know when you sing the song that’s what happening… when I do it now and sing the song, she opens her mouth and claps afterwards! Also if your little one uses a dummy, pretend to give them their dummy and then put the meds into the side of the mouth and place dummy in xx

My son is 13 months and still having some milk and he recently had an ear infection that needed amoxicillin. He wouldnt take it. The only way i could get it into him was mixing it with his milk. Just 2 or 3 oz. Other option was to mix it in with a yoghurt. X
