I had GD with my son so this pregnancy they did the early test and the standard test for me, and I was glad and surprised that both were negative! Woo!! At my 36 week growth scan, my baby girls tummy was measuring bigger than the rest of her (she's still only a small baby though in weight) so they got me in the next day for another GTT.....came back positive 🤦🏻♀️ I'm 37 weeks now and have my consultant appointment this afternoon where I was going to push for 38 week delivery anyway as I'm having an elective C-section and I have awful PGP and my mobility is decreasing daily, so for the last week of pregnancy I'm now stressing out about what I can and can't eat! Can't remember everything from last time as that was over 4 years ago lol. I can't eat alot anyway so I've been snacking but now I've got to think of healthier snacks and the 'pairing' system.
Anyone have any snack/meal ideas? Xx

Apples and peanut butter was a good snack for me 😊

Fibre one cake bars, high protein caramel and peanut butter ice cream from Aldi, salted popcorn, berries, yogurt, low sugar granola, apples, kiwis, Cous cous with protein and veg, brown carb swap, quavers, options hot choc, cheese. I was a late diagnosis too. Pretty good on the snack front now 😂 Holland and Barrett do sugar free cookies and biscuits too.

Nuts are good too!
I was told that you could only have a scan every 2 weeks but I’ve got 3 in one week

When did everyone start packing their hospital bag? Second time mum nearly 31 weeks pregnant and feel I’ve left everything so last minute this time round 🥴

Anyone else been diagnosed? I had my glucose test and got the dreaded phone call today to say it came back abnormal. I wasn’t expecting it at all😑

Has anyone else had any growth scans and been told their baby is measuring large? I am 32.4 weeks and baby 85th percentile but the head and abdomen were measuring in the 90s...

Just been informed by my GP I have under active thyroid. Could be hereditary, but I’m also wondering could it be due to postpartum (almost 9 months).
Anybody experienced this? Anybody found their levels went back to normal? I really don’t want to be on medication for the rest of my life.
