When are you going back to work?

I went back when my first was 7 months and really struggled emotionally so this time I am going back in July, part time (but I’m a teacher so will very shortly have the Summer holidays off after going back)

Please comment if you’ll be full or part time and why.

Went back full time last week. Unfortunately we cannot afford to live on one salary 🥲

September 1st. Don’t forget to claim 30 hours free and child tax free credit ladies.

I’m not going back atm. I have a daughter who turned 2 last month and doesn’t start nursery until July only 15 hours a week which we get free as we can’t afford nursery rates. And my son who is 7 months, can’t start till July next year as that’s when they had space. We literally are living payday to payday and could do with an extra salary but can literally not afford nurseries. I would LOVE to go back to work and hopefully that time comes soon for my mental health, even tho I love my kids to bits, I’ve worked since 14 and now 31 so I’m finding it hard.

Going back full time in 2 weeks! Dreading it!
Can’t live on one income - not entitled to any benefits due to partner earnings.

We pay for 2 morning sessions off childcare as the 30 hours free childcare is not in wales.

Feel guilty for sending him to nursery and not keeping him home.

Went back when she turned 7 months. Couldn't afford to be off any longer. I work 4 days a week.

I'm going back to work Part time at the end of next month as I am lucky that we can afford for me to drop from 4 days to 3.
