Pregnancy Weight Gain

I’m 13 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. I’ve had horrendous HG where I’ve kept and still eating carbs to keep myself from nausea and vomiting. I’ve gained 8kgs already and I’m feeling so rubbish about it.

How fat will I get? This isn’t healthy for me or the baby surely.

It says you should gain zero weight during your first trimester and here I am. I just feel so conscious and disgusted by my body. I gained 25kgs with my first and I did lose it all but I can’t go through that again.

I gained the most weight in the first trimester. Like 20. But I also didn’t eat a lot of carbs before getting pregnant. I gained a total of 35-40lbs. I am back at my pre-pregnancy weight. I think you will be fine. So will your baby❤️ don’t stress it. It’s temporary and for a beautiful cause

I am 9 months post partum now but I’ve been back at pre pregnancy weight since 4-5 months postpartum.

I also gained most pregnancy weight in the first trimester because eating carbs would stop the nausea. It's hard already growing a human, you are doing it with HG which is literally debilitating. You are a warrior!!
Don't be hard on yourself x

Going through this now, dont have HG, but just morning sickness and can only eat carbs and protein now. I'm just eating what I can to keep the nausea away. It feels like I'm eating too much at times, but what else can I do.
