10 week old - difficult bedtime

Finding it really difficult getting my 10 week old to settle for bed

We’ve brought her bedtime earlier to between 8-9pm as we usually start her day from around 10/11am

It’s come to a point where she’s constantly getting over tired and then not drinking her milk properly. Both combined and she gets frustrated because she needs both, doesn’t know which to have first and emotions are high

This is starting to happen during the day now too - difficult to settle for a nap or drink her milk

She’s discovered her fingers/hands and loves chewing on them but last couple of days, more and more where she gets frustrated too

Any advice please? I don’t know what to do and struggling to see her like this or not get burnt out trying to settle her

How are you trying to settle her right now? Like rocking, walking, etc?

Around 8-12 weeks PURPLE crying is at its peak. I'm going to be honest, I was so sleep deprived I don't remember much other than bouncing him around for hours while wearing noise-cancelling headphones and listening to a podcast or something. But this isn't a satisfying response on my part, so I hope someone else has better advice 😭

Speech

My LO has just turned 6m and I noticed today how she the last few weeks she has decreased the amount she babbles and doesn’t seem as interested in trying to talk. She smiles and watches our mouthes when talking to her though.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

How much is your 3 year old boy speaking

Hi ladies. My little boy is a little over 3. He speaks in 3-4/5 word phrases. His vocab is varied. Saying the things he needs. Recently we ran into several girls a little older than him and their speech is far more advanced. His cousin is 6 months younger and her speech is also much more advanced.

Starting to wonder if he should be speaking more? The little girls even made fun of him for not speaking as much as them…just unreal.

Anyways would love some thoughts

My sons doctor said we can use melatonin, is she right?

Last time I questioned about melatonin and a lot of mommies said no to it. My son doesnt have a legit sleep schedule yet. Its hectic. I cant stay up until 430am anymore. I give him melatonin and hes out 30 min after I give it to him for the rest of the night. He also likes taking late nights because hes in school from 1 to 4...what would you suggest?

To tell or not to tell?

My MIL oversteps boundaries, disrespects our parenting decisions and belittles me as a mother in various ways. The first time she did this was when we brought my baby home from hospital and she stayed with us, the second time was recently.
She lives in another country so we only see her once or twice a year. Is it worth telling my husband how I feel or just leave it as he obviously loves her so always excuses her behaviour as 'trying to help' and I don't want to make him sad :/
