6month old not sitting up?

My son is rolling but still not sitting and he was 6 months on the 6th! He will sit for a short period with support but always end up throwing himself back!! 😅🤦🏼‍♀️ I would just say that if you are concerned or even think it’s something you should be concerned about maybe give your health visitor a call and ask for some advice!! ☺️ I’ve called mine a couple of times and I find it so reassuring! ☺️x

Hey, milestones for this is 6-8 months though? It's a window not a fixed point in time.

As I always say, babies haven't read the milestones they do things when they want, not what the experts or us as parents want / expect.

They can only learn one skill at a time and all the mental leaps at the moment (leap 5 at six months means they are learning about relations between us and things (distance) so there's a lot going on!)

Definitely call for reassurance but I promise it's ok x

My daughter of the six months old on the 2nd, and she could sit up a bit wobbly then but now she can sit up alone only now though I wouldn’t worry too much xx

Hey my son is 6 months in a few days and he still can’t sit up on he’s own I don’t think he’s even close to doing it yet. He’s not rolling himself either will if I help me but that’s about it. I keep over thinking it but as I have a 2 year old girl she was doing all these things by now but everyone keeps telling me he will do it in he’s own time so I’m going to give him time and we will see in another while where he’s at then he’s just a so laid back baby compared to my first x

My daughter only today has managed to sit by herself for a few minutes and then falls. All babies are different xx
