Trucker partner
Myself and my partner have been together for 11 years and have 2 children. 11 and 2. My partner started lorry driving about a year ago now and tramps out every week Monday to Friday. Please tell me this gets easier. Looking to make other mum friends who are going through similar.

It 100% gets easier , my partner became a truck driver in 2021 and he was OTR we had no kids nor did we live with each other but it was HARD because we was always with each other 24/7 when I got pregnant in 2023 he bought us a house and he was local for a bit but then he had to go back OTR and that was way worse I was crying everyday and all but he is now local again and I still barely see him but it gets really easy! Once you are able to find a way to keep yourself busy even with kids and find a way to enjoy your own peace it gets easier and when they come home the emotions and the love is 10000X stronger each and every time 🩵 being a trucker wife is not for the weak & it’s definitely not an easy thing to be but it shows our strength in each other and ourselves 🩵
