How did you decide what to go for? I had a Cat 2 emergency C-section in 2022. My consultant has given me the options for either a VBAC or elective section but I really don’t know what to choose. One thing I will not do is get induced as I was before and it was an awful experience.
I have a toddler and would like to be able to pick her up after giving birth and I wouldn’t want to have to wait 6 weeks. This is my main reason for not wanting a c-section. But if I don’t go into labour by 40 weeks I will have no choice as this is an IVF pregnancy plus my history of preeclampsia. What would you do?

I chose an elective C Section because I had preeclampsia with my previous pregnancy & this was the main reason why I chose it. Alongside I wanted to be in control of what's going on instead of being in the wind. Plus I enjoyed my last c section & recovery wasn't bad for me BUT everyone's experience is different x

Following this. I’m completely torn, I change my mind daily. This is almost my exact situation (but without the preeclampsia and IVF pregnancy). It’s actually terrifying because I feel like I’ve got my life and my child’s life in my hands. I almost wish they’d just decide for me 😩
