3 year old not potty trained

I feel so ashamed by this but my 3 year old isn't potty trained, he did start doing wees August September last year and was very consistent with it, but when my second baby was born in December he completely regressed to not doing any.

I've recently started trying again, I've tried everything he's got several pottys, ones he's picked, big toilet seat, pants he's picked, books, watched shows about potty training. I don't know what else to do I feel embarrassed and like a failure about it.

I'm still 4 months postpartum so I'm not sure if I'm being unreasonably upset about it 😭

Bless you, it’s really hard! We had something similar - we’d made a start and then my baby was born in September and it all went backwards (as did many other things!). Took a long time to get back on track.

We resorted to bribery in the end - he got grapes each time (and we stopped them being a snack at other times) and that really helped. We also made a point that the baby had to use nappies, unlike her clever big brother.

Yes, it’s that you’re 4 months postpartum! I’m 7 months and still feeling very overwhelmed with both children and you’re only just out of the newborn stage. Be gentle with yourself.

Oh absolutely not!!! So many of my friends waited until their little ones turned 3 to start and every child is different! Now as we go into the summer could be an amazing time, but I actually did a chocolate button for every time my little one did a wee or a poo on the potty or toilet and it worked a treat. Please be kind to yourself! Every baby, toddler is different and we all end up with mostly the same result ❤️

Now that we are going into the warmer weather I would suggest letting him run around with nothing on his lower half at home, he will hopefully then divert to the potty. We done this with our little boy and he started going in that potty that day. Also agree with the above we told him he would get a nice treat 😂

Dropping night feeds- sorry for the long post..

My little one is far too old at this point to still have me up every 4 hours just for a bottle. She’s a very fussy eater and I worry she’s just not eating enough in the day so I’ve been reluctant to stop. This past week she’s been getting better at trying foods but still won’t eat a whole meal of solids. For context she’s 13 months. Are there any suggestions on how to drop this night feed? Anyone in a similar position so I don’t feel so guilty and alone on this right now!! I’ve been weaning her since 4/5 months on to foods and she’s always been so fussy. She’ll eat anything pureed but give her the same meal solid she won’t touch it. I hate seeing everyone saying their babies are big foodies I feel like I’ve done something wrong. She’s a tall girl and definitely isn’t underweight but is now walking and I’m worried she’ll lose a lot of her chunkiness..

Nursery fees

Just received my first invoice from the nursery for May attendance, and they've charged me for 2 bank holidays, but they're not open then, so my little one won't attend nursery. Is this standard practice, to charge for the bank holidays when the nursery doesn't operate? Or just an error, maybe?

10.5 month old won’t eat!

Is anyone on here struggling with getting their baby to eat solids?? My girl will be 11 months may 7th and I can’t get her to eat anything other than milk. She doesn’t explore with her mouth like a lot of babies. She’s a die hard thumb sucker so I feel like that contributes to not eating. If I put finger foods on the table she just plays with it and if I try a spoon it makes her upset. I find myself constantly panicking because everything I read is after 12 months you should start to worry and that’s around the corner. I feel like I’ve tried all the tricks also. I welcome all advice to anyone experiencing the same issue. My oldest will be 16 in June and I remember her also struggling with solids but I forget all the small details of how I was able to get her to eat.

Weaning while out? Help please! 🙏

I can’t wrap my head around how on earth I feed my baby solids when I’m not at home - does anyone have any advice/suggestions please?

Atm baby girl is having 1 solid meal a day around 11am after her morning nap. (We are moving up to 2 meals a day when she hits 7 months).

She’ll have something like porridge and fruit or scrambled egg with mash sweet potato and avocado (a mixture of spoon and BLW). I can’t figure out how I would take this sort of food out with me if I happen to be out with her at 11ish and also feeding her with the mess etc 😅 would I just change her meal time or is there a knack to it?? 🙏

I feel awful saying this but

I am to resent my baby. Reason being he’s just driving me up the wall. He is soooo clingy I cannot not put him down when if I’m in the same room he will have a meltdown and won’t stop until I pick him up. He doesnt sit still on my lap he always wants to be standing on my lap. He always seems to be crying I honestly think our neighbours hate us 😬🤣 he just such an unhappy baby the last month. Not sure what to do anymore cause I can’t take much more.

He’s my 2nd. My daughter was and is an absolute angel.

Is it just boys that tend to be nightmare children 😖
