Suppository pain killers

Has anyone declined the suppository pain killers after their c-section? I would prefer not to have them, but I’m worried I’ll regret not having the pain relief.

From someone who’s had a c section and due another please do not decline the pain meds if you want to be able to actually move 😅

Omg I had to double the dosage of mine. Could not imagine not taking them

They worked wonders for me especially as I can’t have codeine, ngl with my emergency c section I had no idea it was even in till I was told on the ward after 🤣

What's the reason you don't want them? Is it fear of embarrassment when they put it in? If so, I wouldn't worry because they do it when you're still on the operating table and you are still numb so you don't even know!

Walking after c section

How long did it take for you to walk normal after a c section. Meaning feeling at ease normal paced when walking like prior to the c section.

Does this look like early labour?

I’m 40+4 and this morning I’ve started getting what feels like contractions. It’s where my pelvic area is and they feel like some sharp pulling which starts gets worse then goes. I can’t explain the feeling any differently. With my fist my waters broke and I cannot really remember what early contractions felt like as it has been 6 years.

To belly band or not to belly band post surgery

I’m headed into my second csection (planned this time) and am wondering if most people are using belly bands? My OB advised it’s not necessary but I see so many ads for them about assisting in recovery.
Did you use a band?
At what week post surgery did you start? Did it hinder the scars healing being covered ?
Do you have a certain one you recommend?
