I also had this was prescribed omeprazole!! It worked wonders xx

Rennie's are absolutely fine to take or gaviscon. If they don't help maybe ask your midwife for some omeprazole tablets or the liquid

Omeprazole can take a week to start working and can also give you digestive issues, I've been on it for a month but im still occasionally sick in the night, the only thing that helps me are rennies, completely safe to take along with gaviscon.

Hospital bag period product

I was talking to a labor CNA and she suggested bringing period underwears because when you are sleeping you don't want blood everywhere. I'm already packing these. Was she talking about something else?

Fed up?!

Anyone else really want to start trying to get the ball rolling and try things to naturally induce… but is so exhausted that they have no energy to actually do it?! I’m so ready for baby to be here, but also so tired and can’t be bothered to try all these things.

It was actually the easy way out

Sorry if anyone gets offended but I felt like my csection was easy.
For context my previous births were all water births with no tears or any complications then last baby I had an emergency category 1 c-section emergency buzzer and my baby was out less than 15 minutes after that was pulled.
I dont think I was caught up in adrenaline as I remember it all and remember being calm and relaxed and it just felt soo easy and I'm just curious if anyone else who also had a birth the other way and then a csection feels similarly.
Recovery a very different story and quite a struggle but the actual operation very easy.
