It was actually the easy way out

Sorry if anyone gets offended but I felt like my csection was easy.
For context my previous births were all water births with no tears or any complications then last baby I had an emergency category 1 c-section emergency buzzer and my baby was out less than 15 minutes after that was pulled.
I dont think I was caught up in adrenaline as I remember it all and remember being calm and relaxed and it just felt soo easy and I'm just curious if anyone else who also had a birth the other way and then a csection feels similarly.
Recovery a very different story and quite a struggle but the actual operation very easy.

The experience was peaceful calm, and fast but it wasn't easy it is a major surgery so I think it's two different things, words are important.

I had a traumatic birth first time around virginally with help at the end and an 18m recovery, no pain meds and was neglected terribly. It caused trauma.
My 2nd I had a c section and I felt so content and joy, and baby was in my arms in 7 mins from starting, recovery was tough but faster than before (anything would be honestly).

I don't think the word "easy" is right had it can be triggering, surgery isn't easy, BUT the experience and feeling of peace I got from having a plan Vs the unknown was far better for me personally and I'm so glad I did it that way second time around x

I think every birth can be easy or hard all depending on the person.

I think one of the reasons people say it is hard is due to the recovery itself.
Personally, I wouldn't comment that either type of birth is easy or hard, just part of everyone's personal journey and should be respected regardless.

Hospital bag period product

I was talking to a labor CNA and she suggested bringing period underwears because when you are sleeping you don't want blood everywhere. I'm already packing these. Was she talking about something else?

Fed up?!

Anyone else really want to start trying to get the ball rolling and try things to naturally induce… but is so exhausted that they have no energy to actually do it?! I’m so ready for baby to be here, but also so tired and can’t be bothered to try all these things.
