Birds!!

Omg these frickin birds chirping at 4 am are CONSTANTLY waking my baby up. It’s driving me insane. He’s got like supersonic hearing or something. We have his brown noise turned up, window closed, black out blinds pulled down that are supposed to dampen noise, and the fan on. And sure enough he starts stirring every day when the birds start going. That’s it. That’s the post. It’s just so annoying!!! Anyone else?

Omg I keep waking up at 4-4:30 and I have no idea why and I wonder if it's the BIRDS. It's so annoying, can't they just leave it til about 7:30 🤣

Sleep trainers

Are sleep trainers worth the money? I really feel like my husband and I have made a rod for our backs! Our little boy is 13 months and to go to bed he has a bath, book, bottle and then lays in our bed with one of us until he falls asleep and then we transfer him to his cot and that’s where he stays until 7/8am we’ve done this since he was born! The problem is I return back to work in a few days and it’s just not possible putting him to bed this way! Some nights I’m with him for an hour getting him to go to sleep! He’ll also be staying with our mums and I know they can’t lay in bed with him and wait either! I just don’t know what else to do!!!

11 days postpartum

I had a 2nd degree tear which they’ve stitched up. I felt down there and everything feels different. Guaranteed I already knew it wouldn’t be the same. But it feels like she’s stitched it up to one side rather than in the middle. I’m just wondering if everything’s going to go back to normal.

(Gentle-ish) sleep training at 4 months

I know this is controversial topic so no hate please.

My daughter is 4 months old. Shes always been tricky to get down in the evening but this has worsened over the past few weeks and it’s now taking us over 2 hours from the start of bedtime to put her down. We are rocking her to sleep but she wakes up as soon as we transfer her which ends up in hysterics each time. My husband works away a fair bit and I also have a toddler who is needy at bedtime so this isn’t really sustainable in the long run.

I’m looking into sleep training and I know I don’t want to do CIO but am aware that some form of controlled crying is probably needed. So my question is has anyone sleep trained at 4 months and had success - if so which method did you use? She doesn’t respond that well to patting or shushing so not quite sure how to approach. She also has a dummy which we’d like to get rid of at the same time.

9 Month Sleep Regression -Help!

Hiii mamas

Me and my kiddo are currently in the sleep regression trenches. This one has hit the hardest of all of them! Me and my husband are really struggling. Our baby barely naps, has tons of night wakings.

At this point I’m desperate for anything that could help her. I can tell how exhausted she is and I feel bad! I just want her to get some sleep. 😭 pick of my baby cause she’s also super cute.
