Can you trust / find love again?

One of my biggest dreams in life is to find love, and get married and live happily ever after. I know that sounds cliche and corny, but I am a proper romantic and always have been.
My husband has decided he wants a divorce out of nowhere, and right now I don’t feel like I can trust anyone, or love anyone ever. It’s becoming more and more apparent that he never actually made me feel loved, honestly I’m not sure he ever actually loved me. I’ve tried for reconciliation and couples counselling but he is not having any of it.
But now I don’t know what to do.
I want to be able to feel loved at some point in my life. The idea of never feeling that breaks my heart. But I don’t know if I will ever be able to trust someone again. I don’t how to feel about it all.
Did any of you manage to trust again? Or love again? How long did it take you to get there?

I feel this post. My good friend split with her ex when her daughter was an infant. Her daughter is around 9 now and she is in a really good and healthy long-term relationship. It takes a lot of growth and internal strength. You have to be complete and whole and love yourself, trust yourself and trust your judgement. You have to recognize your worth and walk away from every person who doesn’t treat you the way you need to be treated, doesn’t recognize your value. It will take time and I know I’m not there yet. Right now I’m trying to keep the perspective that if a relationship doesn’t work and doesn’t fit, I have to be okay being alone with myself. If I can’t accept that, then I’m at risk of choosing something thinking it’s better than nothing, and that’s not the path to happiness.

Dm me if you want to talk. I’m a year and a half out from my separation event that led to divorce, and I have an almost-3-year-old.

Hugs and good luck. 🫂

Am I being dramatic?

I've been feeling absolutely terrible in my relationship and I've been going to chatgpt to ask questions and ask if I'm asking for too much etc. chat has been making me feel like I need to leave the relationship although specifically chat has not encouraged a breakup but the things it says make me feel like I'm accepting too much bs from my bf

I wanna ask, am I doing too much getting emotional over what an ai is telling me? Bc I know there's ppl that use chat too much and don't consider anything else. But I feel like I resonate with what it says a lot of the time.

Should I trust it? Both my gut and an ai are telling me the same thing

Bristol Gals!

Anyone based who would be up for doing socials? I find pregnancy lonely and life slightly boring right now.

Expecting my first and I have opted to go on this journey and have a baby myself. I’m very happy but I feel like I don’t have enough girlfriends in my life.

I’m into Food (so is the baby)
Dog Walks (I have 2 dogs)
Fashion
Day trips (I love animals)
Coffee dates
Oh and i’m about to take up djing!

Would love to meet anyone with similar interests!

Where's my village?

Its recently occurred to me that I dont have a single person in my life that lives a similar lifestyle to me and its very isolating.

Are there any other mums out there who have young children (i have 2 under 3), work full time, and have a barely reliable "partner"?

I need a conversation with someone who can actually understand and relate!
